Greg, a partner, clearly described the approach to repairing the deck and hourly rates for a time and materials project. We hired Vasco to remove the existing waterproof sheathing on our deck and to repair the structure underneath the covering, then to install new covering. After we initially called for an estimate, they showed up promptly and provided a detailed written estimate. The price was competitive - not the highest, but not the lowest either. We decided on Vasco because of their responsiveness. The work was then scheduled to take place several months later. When that time came, they did not have the work on their schedule, but they recognized the miscommunication about the starting date (their computer systems had changed) and got us on the schedule. Vasco did the work in the estimated time and the work was excellent. They had to go through the interior of our house (because the deck is on the 4th level and they did not use a crane lift), and we could barely tell anyone was inside because they covered the carpet in the room next to the deck doors, so the carpet remained clean. The site was left clean and free of debris.
